My view on modern day music.

A huge portion of today's popular music is rap music. Although I don't listen to rap music, I don't beleive we should bash people who do. A big part of music is expression of the mind, and although rap doesn't necessarily have meaningful lyrics, or a real story to tell, there are a lot of songs withing the rap genre that do portray a story. People shouldn't be bashed for rap music, as it is self expression, and without self expression, life would have no color to it. Life would be a big boring waste of time without self expression, and this music gets people out to have a good time, and in my eyes if you're having fun while listening to it, that's amazing, and nothing anyone says about how you want to express yourself should matter, because we only get one life, and it's too short to care about what other people think.
